My Baby is 3! Yikes!

Growing up my family never made a big deal out of birthdays. I am totally on board with that. Until now, my 4 year old has only had celebrations with grandparents and I am hoping I can sneak one more of those for his 5th. My youngest turns 3 today and once again, just a small gathering with the grandparents. 

I did go the extra mile for his cake. I refuse to buy cakes from the store so I have to get creative and do it myself. Moist chocolate double layer, cream cheese frosting. Check out the cake:

That's all folks! I have a fairly hard track workout on the docket for tomorrow night. If I survive it with the splits I am looking for, I am hopeful I can PR at the Monster Dash. Until then, we will eat cake.
