Day 1: Already a Breakthrough!
See the above? I thought I couldn't drink coffee without this crap. Everyday I covered the bottom of my coffee cup knowing it was most likely the single worst thing I put in my body. When one of the bottles is gone, it takes about 30 rinses to get the remaining "stuff" off the sides of the bottle. Can't imagine what it does inside my body. Today I switched to coconut milk nondairy creamer. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was!!! Now, I feel a bit guilty that it is hazelnut flavored and that probably is considered cheating, but I figure it is better to be smoker than a crack addict....am I right???
My day has been otherwise fantastic. Paired with this awesome fall weather, life couldn't be better!
My breakfast and lunch looked like this:
4 scrambled eggs with a ton of spinach, baby tomatoes and about a 1/4 avacado. Yum. I had an orange too.
For lunch: Lean roast beef wrapped up in lettuce, tomatos (you can't see these) and more avacado. Baby snap peas and carrots, which I had a second helping of.
So far so good! It is the little things, like learning about the Coffee Mate alternative that will make this challenge worthwhile. I won't document all my meals because you likely could care a less, but this is just a glimpse!
Wish me luck!

Hazelnut flavored coconut milk? I'm intrigued. How do they flavor it? Where'd you find this?
Whole foods. I am not even looking to see how they flavored it because then I will really know I am cheating just a little. But, like I said, it is a HUGE improvement over what I was using. I'll take it.
OK, your breakfast looks fantastic. I might be willing to sacrifice oatmeal for that!
